Terms of Service

Last updated September 22, 2026

These terms cover your use of MarkMe, the website at markmeapp.com, the web app at app.markmeapp.com, and the MarkMe mobile apps. MarkMe is operated by Crossfxn LLC ("we", "us"). By using MarkMe, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

MarkMe is not an emergency service

MarkMe does not call 911, contact emergency services, or send anyone to you. It notifies the people you chose. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. Alerts depend on phone networks, email and push providers, and your contacts seeing and acting on them. We work hard to deliver every alert on time, but we can't guarantee that any message will be delivered, delivered on time, or acted on.

Who can use MarkMe

Your contacts

Only add people who know you and would want to hear from MarkMe about your safety. Don't add anyone to harass, spam, or monitor them. When you add someone's mobile number, we text them once to ask whether they agree to receive alerts. We text them alerts only if they reply YES.

Your account and data

You can stop using MarkMe at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.

Changes to MarkMe and these terms

We may change or stop features. We'll post changes to these terms here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use MarkMe after that means you accept the new terms.

Disclaimers and limits

MarkMe is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Crossfxn LLC disclaims all warranties, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm resulting from an alert that was not sent, delivered, or acted on. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
